OEE is a very important coefficient which describes the effectiveness of a machine park installed in an enterprise. Oee allows us to measure losses caused by unplanned machine function events, i.e. unplanned standstills and prolonged working cycles of a machine. This parameter describes the size of losses for a specified machine operation period. Thanks to OEE, we can easily identify ?bottlenecks? and main problems in an enterprise. Note that the OEE index refers not only to the equipment but also to people, materials and organization of processes. OEE also measures improvements that are being implemented and allows easy calculation of advantages resulting from improvement and from overcoming individual problems.
