DP System

The Polish National Chamber of Biofuels is an association that unites several dozen companies which participate in creation of a new branch of industry, i.e. Polish market of liquid biofuels. On 30 October 2008, the Chamber celebrated its 5th anniversary. Our company also took part in the jubilee celebrations. We have been a member of the Polish National Chamber of Biofuels for a few years and actively contribute to the creation and development of liquid biofuel sector in Poland. While participating in the jubilee of the Polish National Chamber of Biofuels, we also took part in a conference of specialists from renewable energy sources sector called "Energy Breakthrough" which accompanied the celebrations. The objectives of the conference included, among others, acquainting the participants with issues related to making investments in the renewable energy sources sector and removing barriers associated with the construction and energy laws, as well as forming an unanimous opinion about legislative changes which would be necessary to improve investment procedures in the sector.

A thesis is undoubtedly the most important and most difficult task for college students. They must make an enormous effort and devote much time to select an appropriate subject, draw it up and, finally, transfer the acquired knowledge to paper. After master?s defence, the thesis apparently becomes completely worthless, being put on a shelf and forgotten about. However, such a thesis, consisting of a few dozen or even several hundred pages, does still have its value. The knowledge of the students is appreciated by colleges, Polish national associations and private companies which arrange thesis competitions. At the beginning of May, DP System Sp. z o.o. also starts a competition for the best thesis on automation and electronic engineering. The competition is for those who defended their theses in 2008. Student training always constitutes a crucial stage of one?s life. The students have an opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice, to pursue their interest in a given field, to supplement their theses with empirical elements and, last but not least, to check themselves. Additionally, they can check if their selection of a profession was correct and, as a result, if they would be able to work effectively in the future as automation specialists, computer specialists or design engineers. In April 2008, our company also opened its doors to the trainees. Thus, the students have a chance of:

• taking part in student training within the scope of one of the investments that are being made by DP System,
• acquiring the knowledge and experience which can be used later for independent performance of tasks,
• cooperation with highly qualified and very experienced engineers.
